Well folks yesterday I had every intensions of getting up
and running today but two things happened. 1- it rained and 2- I got a puppy!
Yes, that little lady above joined our family yesterday and
I got up this morning and spent some time with her. She is a 12 week old pure
breed boxer and already I just love her to death. Her name is Sara and it seems
she was bred just for me. She was born on 4-11, which I did not find out until
I had already purchased her. Anyone who knows me personally knows that those
are my favorite numbers. In any event,
I’ve been really feeling like I wanted a dog for a while and I went out and
did it. I got me a puppy! BabyGenius and
I couldn’t be happier.
So I spent this morning with Sara and in a matter of 10
minutes I taught her to sit, fetch and she went to the bathroom on a wee-wee
pad. Talk about a smart puppy!
Anyway, I will be back on my running game first thing
tomorrow morning come rain or shine and in a few weeks (once Sara has her next
set of shots & is a little older), I will have a running buddy. Woohoo!
