I really don’t want to get too excited until I get to Day 60, but I must say I am pretty proud
of myself to be 46 days in. Even during my busiest of schedules, I find a way
to get my run/walks in more often than I do not. And yesterday on my Day Off, I
took the puppies for a walk so I still got in some type of exercise.
Today, I did 3.39 miles and I broke my personal record for
the 5k! I accomplished all of this after having a glass of wine yesterday! I
know I said that alcohol was the devil and that I wasn’t going to drink anymore
but my friend came over with her husband and we had a glass of wine. Was that
so wrong? Apparently not if I managed to break a personal record huh? Ok, no
more alcohol until Day 90. How about
that? Sounds good, right?
Speaking of doing what I say I’m going to do, you know that
whole going up and down the stairs of my home more often thing that I talked
about doing on Day 43? Yeah well
that never happened. See what had happened was…
I’m not even going to make excuses-Wait! I will make one
excuse though. I don’t have normal stairs. I have one flight, a landing and
then another short flight. Already
going up one time is doing too much. Imagine doing all that, just to go back
down and do it again? In any event, I will try to do better with the stair
climbing. I also kind of forgot about doing it so I won’t blame it all on the
laziness.
I’ve also decided to keep my blogs brief as I have thirteen
jobs and three children so I really have to manage my time better. I have also
neglected my other blog (The 411). Until I get a sponsor or some donations,
this blog is NOT going to be job number
fourteen so I have to cut it short. Lol. No, but seriously my schedule is
really hectic right now.
So until tomorrow…
Ms. P.

Those stairs don't look safe for working out on. I'm going to advise you to skip the stairs unless you are just going about your normal business. I don't need you injuring yourself while trying to be an over achiever and going up and down the stairs trying to work out because knowing you, you will try to start running up and down and quite frankly noone wants to see you in a neck brace. Good job, however, on doing your personal best for the 5k.
