Day 56

Great morning friends! Another 5k bites the dust.  I did 3.36 miles to be exact. I didn’t break any personal records doing it, but I did it nonetheless. It was a little hot and humid out and that did hinder me a bit but not to the point that I had to stop.

I finally saw the “track police” today. It was some guy sitting in a security vehicle and that’s just about all he was doing. Sitting in a security vehicle. He did absolutely NOTHING when a woman showed up with her dog to the track. He again did nothing with a man decided he was going to ride his bike ON the track. The “track police” sat in his vehicle and watched all of this go down without uttering a word.

Don’t get me wrong but for the most part, people follow the rules. It’s a nice track and very well maintained. It’s just the occasional idiot that feels like the rules don’t apply to them that irks me. The knucklehead who feels like he/she is above the rules.  And then we have the “track police” who are not enforcing the rules. Who do I need to call to deal with this?

Anyway aside from dude showing up with a bicycle, the run/walk was uneventful after that.
